The Football Federation SA is once again supporting the Cancer Council SA’s Call To Arms in 2011.
The Football Federation SA Charity Month is to be held in July, with Round 14 and 15 of the Senior Men’s Competition and Round 12 of the Adelaide Airport Premier Division being the Charity Rounds. The charity month provides the whole of the football community (men, women, juniors and associations) the opportunity to stand up and fight against cancer. Funds raised from the charity month will be donated to Call To Arms, to assist the Cancer Council in their fight against men’s cancers.
To support this event all Senior Men’s Competition and Adelaide Airport Premier Division players and officials are to wear a yellow arm band during their nominated Charity Rounds. All clubs and/or associations are also encouraged to undertake at least one other fundraising activity during the month of July. Clubs and Associations interested in being involved in this initiative can register for 2011 simply by calling 1300 65 65 85 or visiting www.calltoarms.com.au. Cancer Council SA will then send out a Club Champion kit with everything that is needed to be involved in this fundraising event.
If you require any further information about this charity initiative please contact Caitlin at the FFSA on 8340 3088 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
